An alarming new study finds that glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup weedkiller, is estrogenic and drives breast cancer cell proliferation in the parts-per-trillion range. Does this help explain the massive mammary tumors that the only long term animal feeding study on Roundup and GM corn ever performed recently found?

Aside from demonstrating that statins provide no benefit to most people, this study also demonstrates that the so-called gold standard, randomized double blinded placebo controlled, study is a farce. Add to that, though, the fact that statins have severe and deadly adverse effects, it's apparent that these drugs are doing great harm while providing no benefit.
Helenor Bye was just twelve years old when she was experimented on and killed in a drugs trial being carried out in Wales in 1977. In a bid to cover up the truth, the hospital butchered her little body and stole her organs, telling her parents that she was still alive. Today, three decades on, her parents are still fighting for justice for their beloved daughter, who just weeks before she died had presented a bouquet of flowers to the Queen

Pediatrician and pro-vaccine advocate Dr. Paul Offit, who once said a child can safely receive 10,000 vaccines at once, has spoken out repeatedly against vaccine religious exemptions, implying that his opinion is more important than the fundamental moral tenets of a variety of world religions.

Bioethicist Art Caplan, Ph.D. of NY Univ. argues that parents of unvaccinated children should be held liable for illness or death allegedly caused by their children. This article rebuts Caplan's position, and explains why liability should fall, if with anyone on this issue, on him, for the deliberate or negligent use of his academic status and authority, supported by false information, to promote a flawed vaccine policy resulting in avoidable vaccine injury and death.

Turmeric has been used in India for over 5,000 years, which is likely why still today both rural and urban populations have some of the lowest prevalence rates of Alzheimer's disease (AD) in the world. A recent study on patients with AD found that less than a gram of turmeric daily, taken for three months, resulted in 'remarkable improvements.'
You might ask, "why all the fuss about agricultural genetically modified organisms (GMOs)?" After all, regulatory agencies have approved these technologies for widespread application and consumption, so they must be safe, right? Well, the truth is that there is no agency and no industry that works to protect our health. At best, the EPA, USDA, and FDA attempt to respond to our disease after the cause is widespread.
Women face a dilemma when it comes to alcohol. Some studies find benefits, some find risks. What's the bottom line?

Rumors erupted last year that Florida would soon open its formerly paradisal lands to the fracking industry, and now, in only the past six months, six oil drilling permit applications have been filed in the relatively population dense area of Collier county.

There are few subjects on which opinions are as divided as nutrition. Nearly everyone agrees: an excellent diet with lots of fruits and vegetables is healthy and will prevent many diseases. Such a diet is chock full of essential nutrients and antioxidants. Then, how come condemnation of supplemental antioxidants gets so much press coverage worldwide?

A new NIH study proclaiming that Ginkgo biloba causes cancer is so absurd you must wonder if they produced it with a straight face. More important, though, is why—and the reason is truly frightening. It’s part of a system determined to steal all natural health methods and hand them to Big Pharma & Big Medicine for profits.
According to conventional wisdom, the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte (pop. 2.5 million) has achieved something impossible. So, too, has the island of Cuba. They are feeding their hungry populations largely with local, low-input farming methods that enhance the environment rather than degrade it. They have achieved this, moreover, at a time of rising food prices when others have mostly retreated from their own food security goals.
The notion that genes cause disease is a many decades old myth that literally billions of dollars have gone into disproving, but why is the global media still reporting on the topic as if it were true?
In the course of analysis to identify potential allergens in GMO crops, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has belatedly discovered that the most common genetic regulatory sequence in commercial GMOs also encodes a significant fragment of a viral gene. This finding has serious ramifications for crop biotechnology and its regulation, but possibly even greater ones for consumers and farmers.
Great news for potato lovers: they may be a health food after all. Research shows that just a couple of servings a day reduces blood pressure almost as much as oatmeal - without causing weight gain.

The misuse of antibiotics is not only causing new, never-before known diseases like E. coli and MRSA, the flesh-eating bacteria, it's also destroying the gut biome with devastating effects on our ability to deal with infections and destroying our ability to absorb nutrients from food.
Not so long ago a family farm produced a myriad of crops for their family and neighbors. Today’s farms are a different proposition altogether, and monoculture food production is not only hard on the soil and the environment, but is causing allergies to these very foods that are supposed to sustain us.

A recent study from UCLA has confirmed that exposure to the herbicide Paraquat is linked with a heightened risk of Parkinson’s disease. Other studies have found that pesticides significantly increase the risk of Parkinson's.
There is something that every cancer patient should hear from their oncologist when they are first diagnosed. They should be told that by making certain dietary changes, they could increase their chances of healing from cancer dramatically, no matter what course of treatment they pursue.

One of the hottest and most controversial issues in the world today is genetic engineering. With protests against Monsanto on May 25th in over 400 cities, people have shown that this is a topic they truly care about. Largely, the stances are highly polarized with opponents saying it is all cancer causing, poisonous, and environmentally dangerous and supporters saying it is wonderful, improving yield and making everyone except "anti-science" opponents happy.

Since good soil takes effort and money to maintain, Agribusiness hasn't bothered. As a result, basics required for all life, including phosphorus, are now supplied by mining instead of soil. It's resulted in inferior food, but the situation is even worse. Phosphorus reserves are running low, leaving us to face starvation.
Clinical and laboratory research from India have proven that an Ayurvedic formula used for liver infections halts the often deadly hepatitis B virus.

A study claiming that fish oil provides no benefit in heart disease is being hyped as the final word on the issue. But is it? No, it is not. In fact, the study is absurdly blatant pseudo science, with two errors so glaring it's hard to believe they were made. Why do the researchers do it? Why do they care so little about the truth and your health?

It is a little known and under-appreciated fact that all humans are born with a serious, life-threatening genetic defect: namely, the inability to manufacture Vitamin C. Vitamin C, in fact, has significant value in disease prevention and treatment, according to research gathered from the National Library of Medicine.

Traditional healthcare systems like Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine have promoted the health benefits of skin-to-skin contact with the earth for hundreds, if not thousands of years. If that's not reason enough to consider this therapy, there is also now a growing body of research not only proving what those wise physicians knew all along, but showing exactly what happens when we perform this simple act.

Depending on where you look, Angelina Jolie’s decision to have a double mastectomy as a protective measure against breast cancer is being described as incredibly brave, amazingly ill-informed or unbelievably greedy and manipulative. We take a look at some of the issues raised by this larger-than-life story.

While commercially available milk is detrimental for health, it is important to remember that this milk is a highly processed industrial product remotely resembling the raw milk it originates from. High quality raw milk from exclusively pastured cows has incredible medicinal properties, fully recognised and harnessed before vested interests enforced compulsory pasteurization and legitimized low production standards.
Research has determined that commercial bottled water in Spain has over 50 pharmaceutically-active chemicals in it, as well as the highly addictive drug nicotine. Is your (or your children's) bottled water polluted with addictive chemicals?

Irving Stone was an early thinker and writer about vitamin C (its scientific name is ascorbic acid). He knew it would be an uphill battle to change the way the medical profession viewed vitamin C. While most doctors accept that scurvy is a vitamin C deficiency illness, few have made the rather humongous jump to seeing high dose intravenous vitamin C as a major player in the management of cancer.

The evidence continues to mount. That vaccines are doing a great deal of harm is well beyond denying. Worse, though, the evidence that vaccines have had little or no effect on infectious diseases is clear, as documented in new graphs. The precautionary principle, which is enshrined in a UN directive, should have been implemented before vaccines were ever routinely injected.
It is no exaggeration to suggest that African children whose lives have been destroyed by a vaccine—given for a disease that isn’t a concern to them—were used as lab rats by the Gates Foundation, PATH, UNICEF, and WHO. Their existence proves the vaccine is extremely dangerous. Nonetheless, it was hailed as a success.
A growing body of research is confirming that the bacteria that infect our gums may well be the cause of many cases of arthritis. Could your gingivitis be swelling up your joints?
A large scale review of research from Australia and Chinese University scientists has proven with thousands of studies using hundreds of thousands of cancer patients that Chinese herbal medicine offers significant treatment for most types of cancers - including breast cancer.

Years ago, Gaia Health informed that bee dieoffs are a direct result of pesticide nerve agents called neonicotinoids. The term, Colony Collapse Disorder, is fraudulent, designed to direct attention from the known cause. Agribusiness, the poison manufacturers making death-producing pesticides, is the other face of Big Pharma.
A new groundbreaking study from New York State researchers has determined that the U.S. food supply is contaminated with significant levels of parabens - now suspected in breast cancer and other endocrine-related disorders.

Whether she is aware of it or not, the woman decides when, where and how to give birth. Our bodies are under our control whether we have accessed the keys to that control or not. Extreme control has been demonstrated by highly trained martial arts experts who can prevent themselves from ovulating. Mothers at term have put themselves into labor by simply walking up a steep hill for an hour to start contractions.
